NBA free agency has slowed down a bit after a wild first day of action as a lot of the big names went off the board early on. On Tuesday, the Brooklyn Nets and Bruce Brown agreed to a one-year deal to bring him back alongside Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving, and James Harden, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.

Brown played a key role for the Nets, especially down the stretch after their rash of injuries hit them hard in the NBA Playoffs. Brown signed the qualifying offer and will be all set to be an unrestricted free agent in 2022, so another strong year could line him up for a big payday.
The Nets haven’t made any splashy moves in free agency, but they have retained Blake Griffin and now Bruce Brown while losing Spencer Dinwiddie to the Washington Wizards and Jeff Green to the Denver Nuggets.
While having little room to work with as far as cap space goes, Brown is back on a relatively cheap deal, and the Nets have another dangerous roster very capable of making another deep run– and this time reaching the ultimate goal of the NBA Finals.
Perhaps the Nets have another move up their sleeves, but for now, they are doing just fine at the start of NBA free agency.
