Anthony Davis speaks out on Lakers’ offensive woes after loss to Raptors

The Los Angeles Lakers suffered their first defeat inside the Disney bubble on Saturday, falling to the Toronto Raptors, 107-92. However, superstar Anthony Davis is not losing sleep about it.
According to Davis, despite their offensive woes, the most important takeaway is that LA’s defense remains on point.
“I’m not too worried about our offense,” Davis said, per Mike Trudell of Lakers.com. “As long as our defense is there, we’ll find a way to make shots.”
The Lakers-Raptors showdown was actually much closer than the final score suggest. LA and Toronto were tied late in the fourth period before Toronto distanced themselves with a very impressive run down the stretch.
Kyle Lowry led the way for the champs, putting up a 33-point, 14-rebound double-double on top of six assists and a steal. LA’s defense — and offense — were both relatively formidable up until Lowry took over in the dying minutes.
As for Anthony Davis, he had a miserable outing on Saturday, going for just 14 points on 2-of-7 shooting. The seven-time All-Star did add a triple, six rebounds, three dimes and three blocks to salvage a poor shooting night. As he expressed above, however, they’re not reading too much into this rather pedestrian offensive outing for the Lakers.
