Kawhi Leonard and the Los Angeles Clippers had reasons to be in good spirits during Saturday’s game against the New Orleans Pelicans, as they comfortably rolled to a 126-103 blowout victory.
While on the sidelines, Clippers forward Marcus Morris overcame social distancing measures on the bench to give Leonard the old “bunny ears.”
But despite the use of the classic hilarious gesture, Morris couldn’t quite get the the famously stoic Leonard to acknowledge the feeling of amusement with a smile. Close though!

Still, Leonard and his clippers teammates should be happy about their performance on Saturday, bouncing back from a tough 103-101 loss in the final seconds at the hands of the Los Angeles Lakers on Thursday night.
Leonard (28 points, 7-16 FG, 11-13 FT) largely outplayed LeBron James (16 points, nine rebounds, seven assists) in the first official game in the bubble in Orlando, but James got the last laugh with a game-winning bucket followed by a stop on Leonard (and Paul George) on the final possession.
Things went better for the reigning Finals MVP in the Clippers’ second bubble game. His shot is still coming along (6-16 FG), but he managed 10 more free throws on his way to 24 points to go along with six rebounds and five assists. George was the Clips’ best player in the win over New Orleans, draining eight triples to lead the team with 28 points.
Morris, in his 13th game with L.A., had nine points on 4-for-9 shooting.
The Clippers (45-21) will next face the Phoenix Suns (27-39) on Tuesday.
