At this point, it would be safe to say that the recently-concluded All-Star Game was a smashing success. The new format worked to perfection, bringing out the right amount of competitiveness from the participants — something that we have all been longing for for years now.
As it turns out, it wasn’t only the fans that were delighted by what was truly an awesome spectacle. The players themselves seemed to have also enjoyed the ballgame, including those that like the rest of us, witnessed the contest from the comfort of their own homes.
Oklahoma City Thunder swingman Andre Roberson loved the new format and suggested that the league should seriously think about keeping it this way.
