Williamson said Jordan was his favorite player as a kid. Zion was born in 2000 though, so thanks to Youtube, he was able to see how dominant Jordan was during the 90s.

Williamson signed a record rookie sneaker deal worth $75 million over five years with Jordan Brand. Itâs sort of fitting that Williamson is with His Airness’ own sneaker line.
Michael Jordan is arguably the greatest dunker of all time. Watching Zion Williamson dunk with the Pelicans this season while wearing Jordan Brand shoes just seems right.
Unless youâve been living under a rock, you know that Williamson has been an absolute beast in his first 10 NBA games. The No. 1 overall pick from last yearâs draft is making the game look way too easy.
Williamson is averaging 22.1 points, 7.5 rebounds and 2.2 assists after his first 10 games. Heâs also shooting 57.6 percent from the field, 36.4 percent from beyond the arc and 65.4 percent from the free-throw line.
In a perfect world, the Pelicans would like to see Williamsonâs free-throw percentage be higher, but otherwise, Zion has been nothing short of spectacular so far and he figures to dominate the NBA for the next decade or so assuming he stays healthy.
