With Philly up by seven, 99-92, with 51 seconds left in regulation, referees pacified the situation by calling arena security and removing the fan from his seat. It remains unclear what caused the commotion between the player and the spectator, but it might just be another case of fans going way over board with taunting opposing players.
The Jazz, meanwhile, are no strangers to such incidents, as they have permanently banned one fan from watching live games after hurling a racial slur to Russell Westbrook last March.
