Los Angeles Lakers forward Brandon Ingram is expected to miss the remainder of the season with Deep Venous Thrombosis (DVT) in his arm, the team announced on Saturday.
Ingram was diagnosed with DVT upon further testing by the team's medical staff on Friday. The 21-year-old has missed the past two games.
Ingram is averaging a career-high 18.3 points on 49.7 percent shooting across 52 appearances. He was drafted second overall by the Lakers in the 2016 NBA Draft.
L.A. is already missing guard Lonzo Ball, who is scheduled to have his sprained left ankle re-evaluated on Saturday. There's "strong suspicion" he'll also be ruled out for the season, leagues sources told Yahoo Sports' Chris Haynes.
