Thank you to @baskonia1959 and all of it’s fans for welcoming me with open arms this year. I feel lucky to have played for such an amazing organization with such passionate fans. This decision hasn’t been easy, but unfortunately I’ve been battling a knee injury since the beginning of the season and it’s something that I needed to address. After speaking with doctors, the team, my agent and my family, we all decided it was best for me to get surgery and focus on getting myself healthy. Unfortunately this means my season will be cut short and I no longer will be with the team. This is a frustrating time for me because I had high hopes and expectations coming into this season, but my health is my number one priority at this point. Thank you again to everyone who made my experience in Spain an amazing one. Road to recovery starts now. Love you guys ❤️

After a lot of thought and consideration, I have decided to join Baskonia in the city of Vitoria-Gasteiz, Spain! While the NBA has always been my goal since I was a little kid, I felt that this was the best decision for my career at this point. True growth happens when you’re pushed outside your comfort zone and I believe Baskonia will give me the opportunity to get my swagger back! I’m beyond excited for this new journey with a new team and I truly feel we can compete at the highest level in ACB and Euroleague! The chip on my shoulder has never been bigger and I’m ready to get to work! Let’s do this @baskonia1959!!!! ??
