Savannah James couldn’t be prouder of her husband, Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James, after he surpassed Karl Malone’s scoring record on Saturday.
Against the Washington Wizards, James scored 38 points to move to second place on the NBA’s all-time scoring list. He broke Malone’s 36,928 points and ended the night with 36,947. The Lakers superstar is now just 1440 points away from the all-time record held by Kareem Abdul-Jabbar .
Naturally, Savannah was ecstatic to see her partner in life make another history. She took to Instagram to share how amazed she is, simply writing “Just wow!!!” while tagging LeBron.

Savannah James has always been supportive of LeBron James ever since they met in high school, and there is no doubt she’s a major reason behind the success of the Lakers forward.
While it seemed nothing will surprise her given how long she and LeBron go back, it is quite clear she continues to be amazed by the work James does and everything he is achieving 19 years into his NBA career.
Fortunately for Savannah, it doesn’t look like LeBron is going to stop any time soon. Given that he has already over 1500 points this 2021-22 season, it is possible he breaks Abdul-Jabbar’s record next season. Of course that depends if he can stay healthy and produce at the same level he’s doing today, but there is a really good chance he can do it.
When he does, we’re pretty sure Savannah James will be watching and cheering for her husband.
