Kevin Durant gave Brooklyn Nets fans quite a scare after his awkward fall in the second quarter of their Game 1 playoffs matchup against the Boston Celtics.
Off a lob pass from Blake Griffin, Durant took off as he looked to bank the layup. However, with Marcus Smart in front of him waiting to draw the charge, KD’s jump was altered and forced him to an ugly fall. While he still made the shot, it was the last thing Nets fans thought about as the superstar forward fell on his right-arm–twisted badly as if it was injured.
Fortunately, the 32-year-old came out unscathed and continued playing.

Still, it was undoubtedly a scary moment for Nets fans. The fall could have been way worse for Kevin Durant given how it went and the sheer impact of it alone.
Hopefully, there won’t be any other issue caused by the said incident. Brooklyn needs Durant 100 percent if they want to win the title this 2020-21 season, and the last thing they would want to see is a member of their Big 3 getting sidelined again due to injury.
The Nets have struggled with injuries all season long, with Durant and James Harden missing a lot of time due to various health concerns. For his part, Durant played only 35 games during the regular season and even missed 23 straight games at one point due to a strained hamstring.
