DeMarcus Cousins’ debut for the Golden State Warriors lasted only 15 minutes after fouling out in their 112-94 win against the L.A. Clippers at the Staples Center on Friday.
Cousins, who is coming off a one-year layoff due to a torn left Achilles, fouled out in the fourth quarter of his season debut. According to ESPN, it was the fastest foul out of his career. It was also the 50th time the superstar center fouled out since he entered the league in the 2010-11 NBA season.
But despite fouling out, DeMarcus Cousins made his presence felt when he was on the court. The 28-year-old center started for the Warriors and scored his team’s first basket with a thunderous dunk off a pass from Kevin Durant during a pick-and-roll play. The four-time NBA All-Star also knocked down his first three-point attempt as a Warrior.
